From 1964 to 1986, Mr.James Park’s primary Insurance company was the New York Life Insurance Company. He established Ark Insurance Service in 1986. At that time, Ark Insurance Services mainly offered Life Insurance for their clients.

Michael Draper, CPA, has been with Ark Insurance since 1999. Mike is Jim’s partner, handling the the life side of Ark Insurance Services. He has been assisting people with taxes for over 30 years. Mike started his career as a CPA with a “big eight” accounting firm and has been associated with local firms and private industry. He has helped people reduce their taxes, minimize estate taxes, and protect estate values. Mike has advised retired or retiring professional and business executives, during or approaching their retirement. Mike is a graduate of the University of Missouri where he majored in business and finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Advisory Associate, and member of numerous professional associations.

Through the late 80’s and early 90’s, Ark Insurance Services began focusing in the areas of Health Insurance and Employee Benefits. The driving force behind the Health Insurance expansion of Ark Insurance Services was Steven Park, the son of Jim Park.

Now, Ark Insurance Services has expanded into many types of insurance products. These products range from Long Term Care, Life Insurance, Health Care, Dental Insurance, and Voluntary products, such as AFLAC.  Ark Insurance Services prides itself in offering a full array of products and services for their clients.

In the future, Ark Insurance Services hopes to expand into the Property and Casualty Fields. This will round out the products we can make available to our clients.
